Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Canada provides medical and logistical expertise, and personnel for a number of field operations across the globe, especially in countries where no medical infrastructure exists or where existing ones cannot cope. MSF Canada directly responds to public health emergencies caused by armed war, epidemics, food insecurity and natural or man-made disasters. MSF Canada also offers long-term assistance through the rehabilitation of hospitals and dispensaries, the establishment of rural clinics and the implementation of vaccination and drug management programmes.
