World Vision is a Christian relief and development organisation working for the well being of all people, especially children. Through emergency relief, education, health care, economic development and through raising public awareness, they seek to promote the situation of the needy and provide for their basic necessities. At present, WV Korea supports 155 development and relief projects in 43 Third World countries, located in Asia, Africa, Middle East & Europe and Latin America. Also, it operates in-country programs such as 12 community development centers and 10 family development projects, while giving support to 70 childcare institutions.
