The Franciscans International (FI) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) at the United Nations. It is an international ministry of the entire Franciscan movement, men and women, lay and cleric, Protestant and Catholic. FI is focused on building bridges between impoverished, marginalised people and those who formulate society’s economic, social and cultural policies around the world. It promotes human rights and the eradication of poverty.
