MACERUDET (Mmanze Centre for Rural Development and Training) is a Ugandan NGO. The organisation is involved in healthcare control and disease prevention programmes, work on AIDS prevention and mitigation, infrastructure and facilities development, skills training and the promotion of women’s rights. MACERUDET is also involved in environmental conservation and a micro-credit programme.The organization has no established paid staff but utilize the services of volunteers both from Uganda and the international community.We accept volunteers all the year round ranging from teacher volunteers from kindergarten through primary up to secondary level both ordinary and advanced levels.We also need vocational trainers to train our people especially the youth and women in different vocational skills.Still we need medical volunteers to work with us at our local health unit.Still we need sports,art and craft,computer,music dance and drama trainers.Volunteers are accommodated at our volunteer house and can stay from one week up to a full year.Volunteers can come in a group,in a family,in a couple or individually.
