Reach the Children of Africa International
Unverified non-profit organisation
Reach the Children of Africa International (RCAI) is a non-profit organization, founded in 2014 with a mission to transform the lives of the most vulnerable children by providing access to education starting from the district of Ntungamo in Ruhama county, to Rwanda, East Africa, and other similar communities. Currently the organization runs a school called Green Acres Academy which was started by the founders with a strong belief that poor children would perform just as well as those from wealthy families and be agents of change and transformation for generations to come in rural communities.
For many years in the past, the social economic background of this region, like many other African communities, has been immobilized by absolute poverty. One of the major causes of their destitution is because of the rampant death among people in the region due to epidemic diseases like AIDs. The devastated families in this region have been left without the ability to provide for the basic necessities of life including food, housing, clothing, medical care, education, and other basic needs. It is in this regard that Reach the Children of Africa International was founded.
The organization has also prepared a strategy to empower local people in impoverished communities with income generating activities through poverty eradication programs. In addition, the organization has outlined an initiative to promote better health among the local people in broken communities to help control epidemic outbreak and thereby reduce both infant and adult mortality rates. The organization seeks to fight against AIDS, Malaria, tuberculosis, and other deadly diseases.
