Good Shepherd Community Development Association (GSCDA)was established in 2014 and is operating in Busoga Region and planing to expand their activities to other regions. GSCDA has a total of 300 Women, Youth,PWDs, Elder Farming groups with an average of 5-30 members per group. and they have a membership of 205 farmers groups that constitutes to about 11,030 individual farmers of which 3/4 are women.
GSCDA’s mission is to promote an empowered community socially, educationally, and economically through unity and hardworking and to give basic adult and youth education learning and empower the resource poor farming communities of both women and men through trainings, advocacy and access to better markets and its clear vision is literate, productive and harmonious community of youth, women, and men meeting their basic needs and rights with ease, PWDs inclusive.
