United Safe Environment Creators is a non-profit, community-based organization run by people from different countries. The organization started back in 2015 and was legalized in November 2016 under the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Service with reg. SCSDO/CBO/BO-201 and certificate no. 38613.

At United Safe Environment Creators, we are a group of dynamic and passionate young refugees committed to creating a better future for ourselves and our communities. Our organization was founded in the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya, and we are proud to be a community-based initiative that addresses crucial issues such as education, livelihood, and climate change.

Our mission is to empower young refugees and their communities through education, livelihood initiatives, and environmental sustainability, fostering a safe and prosperous future for all.

Our visio is a world where refugees and marginalized communities have access to quality education, sustainable livelihood opportunities, and live in a safe environment where they can thrive and contribute positively to society.

Goals:

1. Education:
• Empower young refugees in Kakuma refugee camp with essential digital skills to enhance their education, employability, and economic opportunities.

2. Livelihood:
• Enable refugees and marginalized communities to build sustainable livelihoods through skills development, entrepreneurship training, and access to resources, thereby fostering economic resilience and self-sufficiency.

3. Environmental Sustainability:
• Promote environmental conservation and sustainability within refugee camps and surrounding communities through awareness campaigns, waste management initiatives, and collaborative efforts, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for present and future generations.

Objectives:

1. Education Objectives with a focus on Digital Skills:
• Establish digital learning centers within the Kakuma refugee camp, equipped with computers and internet connectivity.
• Provide specialized training programs on digital literacy, coding, and other relevant digital skills.
• Offer mentorship and support for young people to pursue careers in technology and digital entrepreneurship.
• Partner with tech companies and organizations to provide internship opportunities and practical training in digital fields.

Livelihood:
• Launch income-generating projects such as agriculture, handicrafts, and small-scale businesses.
• Conduct training workshops on financial literacy, business management, and vocational skills.
• Facilitate access to microfinance and other financial resources for entrepreneurship.

Environmental Sustainability:
• Organize awareness campaigns and workshops on environmental conservation and sustainable practices.
• Implement recycling and waste management programs within refugee camps and communities.
• Collaborate with local and international organizations to plant trees, conserve natural resources, and mitigate climate change effects.
