As the United Nations specialised agency for tourism, the World Tourism Organization is committed to working with the private sector to catalyse actions in support of the MDGs. To help advance Corporate Social Responsibility within the sector, UNWTO partners with the UN Global Compact. Tourism can make a significant contribution to addressing economic, climate and poverty imperatives.
