Almost 80 percent Ugandans live in the rural where their are no good services with high poverty levels. LCM Uganda is currently targeting support to the orphan, youth and widows around the Rwenzori Districts, having realised the historical sequence of wars and their negative effects. The increase in child school dropout rates and more especially the girl child is so alarming.

The Organisational scope in the area to organise, Sensitise and implement children welfare. The challenges is this kind of service level is very low and unavailable. Therefore, LCM needs to provide a grassroot platform to the Orphan, youth and widows through providing child education and empowerment.
LCM UG is a registered local NGO currently operating in Kasese District.
