Rural Aids Orphans and Mothers Support Organization (RAOMOSO) is a registered community based women Organization with license number 2016/915. It was started in 2015 in LUUKA district by a group of indigenous woman professionals with long outstanding experiences and excellence in community development work. RAOMOSO has scaled up activities and maintained a community of practice and life long learning approach to Sensitizing communities in HIV/AIDS and violence against women and girls, Eye and Ear health, training in adopted sport for persons with disabilities, Skills development education in agriculture, craft making.
RAOMOSO currently operates in Luuka and Kaliro districts. Through its grassroots Community Response Teams (CRTs), RAOMOSO is able to mobilize the communities and various levels to offer eye and Ear screening services to children in school and youth in rural communities of luuka district.
