Destiny community school is a Non Profit Making Institution. It was found in 2001 with the core objectives of providing education to the most disadvantaged children in the local community. Destiny started as a quick community response to the suffering of the so many orphaned and vulnerable children.
Since then Destiny has been awarded with both a legal status and public benefit recognition by the Zambian Government, Ministry of General Education and Ministry Of Community Development. The Centre’s programs run from nursery, primary through to junior secondary. The Centre believes in and advocates for an education that is designed to promote the spiritual, intellectual, cultural and moral development of students. Destiny Community Centre has a school which runs from early Childhood Education through to Grade nine. Training is also provided to disadvantaged women and school dropout girls in basic Tailoring / Design and Knitting Skills. The school has 450 enrollments for vulnerable children, with 23 full time staff working as teachers and support staff.
