Sands Fish Farm specialises in the production of African Catfish (Clarias Gariepinus). This involves the production of African Catfish Seed (Fingerlings) and its food. Sands also provides assistance to farmers in form of training. They also construct Recirculating Aquaculture Systems(RAS) using locally available products.

Over the years Sands has designed simple RAS systems that utilise the easily available resources to make RAS systems affordable. This involves harnessing resources like the sun to provide power given that RAS Systems are heavily dependant on electricity for water reuse.
