Jawakhali Jubo Sangha(JJS) is a Youth led non-profit organization registered with the Directorate of Youth Development bearing with the registration number DYD/Sat/Reg: 010, dated on 14.08.2018.
The organization emerged in 2014 at Jawakhali village of Shyamnagar Upazilla in Satkhira District of Bangladesh by a group of youth leaders for community development.
The organization is implementing various types of development activities like sustainable livelihoods, revolving funds, roadside plantation, Water and Sanitation Hygiene (WASH), skill building training, women empowerment, community action days, gender based violence(GBV), crab farming, social audit and other Right Based Approach.
Voluntary Service Overseas( VSO), Nakshikantha, Shushilan (NGOs) are currently supporting the organization to build the capacity of the organization.
The organization is linking the vulnerable women and marginalized farmers with the government service providing agencies for social safety net support.
The Youth Club members are also providing various voluntary services at community especially in risk assessment (CRA), new technology introducing, baseline survey, early warning system and other social activities. Currently, the organization is planning to work in wider community for sustainable development.
