L’Association pour l’Appui à la Promotion des Enfants Déshérités (APED) (the Association for aid to disadvantaged children) is a Togolese NGO. The organisation helps parents take responsibility for their children, and
provides education for disadvantaged children and vocational training for young people. APED also assists with the provision of educational and health infrastructure. APED promotes family planning, advocates against slavery, trafficking of children and child labour, and assists with income generation activities for parents.
