LESAJU FAMILY HEALTH CARE AND EMPOWERMENT FOUNDATION is a community based organization fully registered with Kasese District local Government reg. no.2011 under NGO/CBO desk.
The organization started in 2018 by a group of health worker and development activists who are referred to as promoters, it was formed to respond to community issues like high levels of school drop outs, teenage pregnancies, increasing numbers of children on streets, domestic violence, diseases ,poverty, limited access to health services through empowering adolescent girls/boys, vulnerable women and people with disabilities with vocational skills for self reliance.
The purpose of this organization therefore, is to empower the vulnerable adolescent girls, boys, OVCs and young women through vocational trainings, advocating for their sexual reproductive health and rights, psycho-social support to rehabilitate them into meaningful and productive people who contributes to the community development and be able to earn their living with ease.

Objectives of the organization
1. To help the vulnerable groups create their own livelihood opportunities through economic and social empowerment.
2. To enable and support the vulnerable group to advocate sexual reproductive health and rights.
3. To advocate for issues of women, girl child and people with disabilities.
4. Formation and training village savings and loaning associations to vulnerable adolescent girls/boys, women and other marginalized groups.
