Glad’s House is a UK-based charity that assists street children in Mombasa, Kenya. The organisation aims to help the children to lead as normal a life as possible by trying to reunite them with their families using a team of social workers. Alternatively, the organisation places the children with foster families. The children are also placed in full-time education, and higher education is supported. The Glad’s House sports programmes is used to engage with the children and youths and to provide practical and emotional support, while enterprise schemes provide training and apprenticeships for young adults.

Glad’s House employs social workers and sports coaches in Mombasa and uses volunteers to fundraise in the UK.
