The Center for Peace and Development Effectiveness (CEPDE) is a Liberian NGO which aims to promote peace, human rights and effective development for disadvantaged communities and populations in Liberia, West Africa.
CEPDE offers policy advocacy and capacity building in the areas of community development, poverty reduction and human rights at the local and national levels. Capacity building services include life skills and employment training workshops, mentoring, and motivational speaking forums for school dropouts and other disadvantaged groups.
CEPDE supports the work of the United Nations and other international bodies in the areas of peace, human rights and development. CEPDE is also involved in the global campaign for an Arms Trade Treaty (ATT).
