Bikes for the World, an American NGO, is currently the largest provider of donated used bicycles in the world, delivering more than 10,000 bicycles annually to partner non-profit programmes in Africa, the Caribbean Basin and Central America, and the Philippines. The organisation taps the generosity of individual and institutional donors of bicycles, through partnering with more than 100 community organizations, public institutions, and private businesses, to collect, prep, sort, and ship used bicycles in repairable or better condition.
