Uganda Public Rescue Foundation (UPRF) established in 2008 as one of the new models for improved administration of justice and human rights. It aims to fight for human rights and improving access to justice for all those charged with criminal offences in fulfilment of constitutional requirements. The foundation strives to realize this important goal by fighting for human rights and offering free legal services to those in need and vulnerable. UPRF was accredited by the law council as a legal aid service provider, member of Legal Aid service providers Network (LASPNET), and also member of Uganda National NGO Forum., in partnership with foundation for Human Rights Initiates.
UPRF VISION
A Ugandan society where all human rights are respected promoted and defended to ensure access to justice for all is a reality irrespective of gender, age, ethnicity, religion or socio-economic status.
UPRF MISSION
To become a leading provider of legal services of choice in order to ensure access to justice for the poor and vulnerable people so as to promote the socio-economic development of Uganda.
UPRF is now in its serious years of operation foundation and regards legal aid services to poor people as a factor in promoting the right to liberty and fair hearing, alleviating poverty and ensuring professional, cost effective, complete and quality legal aid services as core values and fight for Human rights.
