Chara Foundation Uganda is a registered CBO dedicated to respond to the needs of the mentally ill and Elderly persons. The Foundation works to create a healthy and supportive environment that promotes mental health recovery, increase access to mental health treatment, psycho-support and access to basic needs. With a team of 9 volunteers and still growing. The major strength is the fact that they have a current partnership with an already established shelter/home where these patients live so are easily accessible, commitment of all team members.
