African Women and Girls Organization For Total Knowledge -Uganda is a not for profit organization and part of the International Global Women’s Organization with international offices in USA, IOWA. African Women and Girls Organization For Total Knowledge-Uganda was established in Uganda on the 27th, May 2011 to provide educational and life skills necessary to prepare and empower young at-risk girls and disadvantaged women to be successful in their personal lives Communities and Nation.

Since its inception in 2011 the Organization has carried out many welfare and self-based development programs especially for the empowerment of at risk and vulnerable girls and women in Uganda.

Target group:

Girls:
 The organization provides healthy personality development through Transcendental Meditation program.
 Provision of Schoolarship opportunities for higher education and university level.

Women:
 Poor women are trained in different vocational fields for sustainability of the their children and families. They are also taught the Transcendental Meditation technique to overcome stress and gain emotional stability to be able to take care of themselves and their children.

Widows:
 Creating opportunities in various vocational fields by providing training in the respect fields for sustainability as their children and themselves.
 The Transcendental Meditation technique was taught to help them overcome stress and gain emotional stability to be able to take care of themselves and their children.

Youth:
 To Prevent the youth in participating the antisocial activities, academic as well as carrier guidance to the youth were offered to youth. As well as providing vocational training to the skilled persons. Fixing the targets to the youth for their future life. The organization also counsels and motivates them to achieve their targets. Up graduation of the skills for the skilled workers with latest technology and creating the self- employment opportunities.

