African Orphan Outreach, a US nonprofit humanitarian orphan organization, cares for over 200 orphans who live at the Ushindi Children’s Homes in Western Kenya. They have built two of the three orphanages where the children live. The AOO Sponsorship Program provides the basic needs for the children including food, education and medical needs. Many of these children have been orphaned due to the AIDS pandemic in Africa where they have lost parents to the devastating disease.

AOO also supports a school of over 300 children, many of them orphans, and a Widows and Outreach Program. If you are interested in helping support this ministry, assisting with current projects and needs, or sponsoring a child (there are several orphans on the waiting list to come into the
