Funded in 1980, Roshni began publishing in 1981 with three titles, on the principle of publishing books of the highest quality. Roshni Publication has published across virtually every segment, including short-stories, travelogues, history, philosophy, biography, politics, history, education, science and religion. The publishing portfolio contains books and products for readers of all ages at every stage of life. Roshni is committed to expanding their role as a cultural institution that serves society not only with the books published and investments made in new ideas and diverse voices, but also through support of numerous campaigns and collaborative initiatives countrywide that promote literacy and reading culture, support freedom of expression, and reflect belief in the power of books to connect and change lives. Today, the company publishes more than 50 new titles every year and has an active back list of over 1200 titles.
