NIIT Foundation (NF) is a not-for-profit education society set up by the promoters of NIIT in 2004. NIIT Foundation has a mandate to reach the unreached, uncared and unattended to ensure inclusive development in India. The foundation is currently working in 22 states with 158 own skill centers and 358 partner centers which helps youths get skills which can help them for Jobs. 1.3 million youths were impacted last year and aiming to impact another 1.8 million this year. The foundation provides skill training in various domains like, retail, hospitality, banking and finance, IT and ITES, Hardware Networking and various other trades. There are programs which cater from school kids to old age people.
NIIT Foundation makes critical interventions towards upgrading the skill base and employability of marginalized youth – in urban slums and rural areas.
