Sankhuwasabha Education Scholarship Foundation (SESF) is a Nepalese NGO that supports orphaned and other needy children who find it hard to access formal education. SESF runs an individual sponsorship programme that assists children to receive their education at a private English boarding school or at a state school, and also runs an orphanage support programme that assists 12 children living in a children’s care home.

SESF recruits volunteers to help with these programmes.

In addition to these activities, SESF has established Makalu Arun Social Trek (MAST) a social trekking company in Khandbari. The company promotes sustainable tourism which helps to create jobs in the local community and generates economic benefit for the SESF sponsosrship programme and for the children’s home.
