The Mother Child Education Foundation (ACEV)is a Turkish NGO that seeks to improve the quality of an individual’s life through education. Based in Istanbul, ACEV develops programmes in its two main areas of expertise, early childhood development and adult education. ACEV has also collaborated with Turkish Radio Television to create a programme entitled “Will You Play with Me?” which targets children and their parents. ACEV’s work is based on three fundamental beliefs: everyone should have access to equal education; learning is a lifelong process that should begin in early childhood; and children and their caregivers must be educated and supported.
