The Sowers Action is a non-religious, non-political, non-profit charity organisation founded in 1992 in Hong Kong. The organisation’s main goals are to improve basic education for children and to assist community development in poor, remote areas in the Mainland. Its activities range from repairing and rebuilding education facilities, aid children get back to school (by providing subsidies), improving the quality of the teaching, and monitoring the progress. Sowers Action has developed several fundraising methods, among which street activities and charity golf tournaments to sponsor children’s school enrollment and the construction works.
