The ABM Hong Kong Swatow Baptist Church Community Service Association (ABMSBC) is a non-profit organization formed in 2004. ABMSBC has formally taken up all the social and educational services which had been under American Baptist Mission in Hong Kong from 1950s to 2005.
The Association serves the community with a) children and youth services; b) Poverty Eradication Programs which include Short-term Food Assistance Services (self-financed and government funded) to the underprivileged; c) Caring Service with special attention paid to the underprivileged.
Past work included the below :
1. Social Service work
a) Relief work with refugees, Noodles Factory
b) Special programs for youth, elderly and drug addicts
2. Educational Work
a) Rooftop schools
b) Kindergartens
c) Financial assistance through the STEP program
