Aldeas Infantiles is a member of SOS Kinderdorf International, and works in accordance with its statutes and principles for education and childcare. Aldeas Infantiles has been active in Chile since 1964, and is currently responsible for twelve SOS children’s villages, six SOS Youth Centres, three SOS Kindergartens, two SOS vocational training centres, and seven SOS social centres. The main aim of the projects is to ensure that children cared for are given the best possible start in life in order to be able to live independently.
