Red Cross – Peru (Cruz Roja Peru) promotes and encourages national approach to disaster risk management in the early stages of reduction, response and recovery. Humanitarian action in Peru also includes actions to promote development with a focus on multiculturalism, gender, and respect for the environment, to provide alternatives to social groups with limited opportunities, through the formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of projects aimed at improving the quality of life of the physically and socially vulnerable population.
