Hogar Virgen de los Dolores is a Christian NGO established in Venezuela in 1945 to care for and educate poor children from difficult economic and family backgrounds. The children are grouped according to age in a number of homes in Caracas, and the organisation also runs a recreational facility in the countryside. Children are educated to an appropriate level, and prepared for entry into the labour market.
