The Muttart Foundation provides financial support to charities in Alberta, Saskatchewan, the Yukon, and the Northwest Territories. It primarily focuses on the needs of charities as organisations, rather than on the programmes they offer; in other words, the Foundation helps charities to improve their infrastructure. Most of its funding supports social service programmes, particularly those related to children and youth. Applicant must be a registered charity and have adopted the Code of Ethical Fundraising and Financial Accountability.
