Khadarlis for Sierra Leone is an NGO registered in the USA that provides fertilizers and a water supply to underprivileged villages in refugee affected areas of Sierra Leone. The organisation also provides basic lighting through the installation of solar energy systems and assistance for programmes that foster self-esteem and self-reliance among community members. Khadarlis works with the community to provide adequate housing to help refugees return to their villages from urban environments.

Khadarlis aims to prevent health problems from happening or re-occurring by implementing educational programmes, developing policies, administering services and conducting research.

The organisation’s mission is simple: to rebuild villages in Sierra Leone destroyed by the 10-year civil war, commonly referred to as the “Blood Diamond War."
