Kenya Education Fund

Unverified non-profit organisation

The Kenya Education Fund is a New York-based nonprofit organisation that provides educational scholarships to 500 high school and university students across Kenya. Each KEF-sponsored scholar receives 4 years coverage for high school tuition, room and board at a boarding school, school supplies, books, uniforms, a mosquito net to prevent malaria and much more.

Since the KEF’s inception the Fund has helped more than 1000 students to complete high school.

In New York, the KEF is playing a part in educating Americans by speaking to students about educational inequity in less privileged parts of the world, and thus raising awareness which may turn into positive action later.
