The Small World Foundation is an American NGO dedicated to providing reconstructive surgery and medical aid throughout the developing world for children and adults who have no access to proper health care or resources for treatment. Medical education, training and informational exchange form part of the 4-5 annual medical missions undertaken, and plans are in place to augment this with the latest technological advances in telecommunication via live tele-medicine hookups.
