The Association for Humanitarian Development (AHD) is an NGO based in Pakistan. The main objective of the AHD is to work for peace, justice, harmony and equality with disadvantaged and marginalized communities. AHD operates in Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab. The organisation works on a range of programmes including relief and emergency work, women’s empowerment, provision of safe drinking water and sanitation, and agriculture. AHD also engages in advocacy on behalf of its client group.
AHD has established a number of community based organisations and self-help groups in flooded areas, and assists these groups with capacity building and training.
