Mama Na Mtoto UK is a charity registered in UK that services in the slums of Mombasa and Kilifi County, Kenya. They deliver programmes of preventative health for pregnant mothers and their families. They also offer free antenatal and postnatal care directly into the homes of vulnerable pregnant women. A holistical approach is adopted to improve family lives through : a. Education : Health promotion employment of local mothers; improvement of midwives practice through enhanced training programmes for students and midwives. b. Integrating midwifery care into existing local health services. . c. Community cohesion methods ,increasing access to health services and improvement of government targets .
