The World Health Organization established the Country Office in I.R.Iran since 1984 with a few staff members and a small working area. Through major developments on activities, the office have remarkably expanded at the time of relocation to the new premises in Ministry Of Health & Medical Education (MOH&ME) in 2004.
In order to materialize distribution of work in WHO Country Office based on activities, the following units and departments are all running tasks and routine duties are : Advocacy and Knowledge Management (AKM),Development of Health System (DHS),Emergency and Humanitarian Action (EHA),Health and Communicable Diseases (HCD),Health Promotion and Protection (HPP),and Health and Sustainable Development (HSD)
