Life For Relief and Development (LIFE) is an American NGO carrying out Islamic ethical ideals through humanitarian activities. Established in the aftermath of the 1991 Gulf War, LIFE projects include community development, education, emergency (war and natural disaster) relief, assistance to people with disabilities, health, human development and empowerment, water and sanitation, orphan aid, an orphan sponsorship programme, a Ramadan and Eid food basket programme, the Udhiah programme for feeding the hungry, the Horn of Africa famine emergency relief, the South Asian earthquake emergency relief, and Hurricane Katrina relief.
