Associacao Communitaria Nova Vida (ACNV) is a Brazilian charity promoting social development and humane education. The organisation works with children from poor areas on three sites in the city of Sape. The House of the Future caters for adolescents, the Children’s Centre provides education for children between 3 and 10, and the Infant Home provides food and medical care for babies. ACNV aims to involve the children in activities which support and extend formal education, with an emphasis on social and political awareness.
