Reef Check is an international non-profit organisation dedicated to reverse the global decline in the health of coral reefs through education, science and conservation. It is also the only program that defines and measures reef health using a standard method on a global scale. Reef Check partners with volunteers, governments, businesses, universities and other non-profit organisations to publicise the value of reef ecosystems and its current crisis affecting marine life, to train a global network of volunteer teams for scientific monitoring and reporting on reef health and to stimulate local community actions to protect and rehabilitate reefs worldwide.
