The basic aim of the International Federation of Associations of the Elderly (FIAPA) is to mobilize the elderly and their associations in order to enhance their integration in the life of society. It also advocates for elders and seniors in major international organizations such as the UN, WHO, UNESCO, Council of Europe, and the European Union.
