The Church World Service is a global, multi-denominational network of churches. CWS LAC is the regional office of Church World Service in Latin America and the Caribbean. It supports indigenous rights in the Chaco region (Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay), addresses violence against children in Brazil and Uruguay, and assists Colombian refugees in the process of resettlement in Chile. CWS also supports key partners who promote peace and justice in Argentina and Brazil. In Central America and the Caribbean it promotes food and nutritional security, addresses violence against children in Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic, and supports key partners working for peace and justice. CWS also provides emergency relief when hurricanes, mudslides and other disasters strike.
