Oxfam is a development and relief agency that helps people in the struggle against poverty by finding lasting solutions to poverty, suffering and injustice. Oxfam Quebec is part of Oxfam International, a confederation of 13 organisations working worldwide to combat poverty and to promote social justice. In Niger, Oxfam Quebec supports 25 projects in health, human rights, basic education and water and sanitation.

Oxfam-Québec currently has more than 150 projects underway in 28 countries. All of these projects seek to bring lasting solutions to situations of poverty and injustice.
