Habitat for Humanity is a non-denominational charity dedicated to eliminating poverty housing worldwide. The organisation works with local homeowner families to build and renovate houses through volunteer labour and donations of money and materials. In Brazil, Habitat for Humanity also has initiatives underway focusing on microfinance, financial education and strengthening community leadership.
