Founded during the Spanish Civil War in 1937, Plan International is one of the largest child-focused development NGOs. Aiding deprived children in developing countries, Plan International is non- political and has no religious affiliations. In Niger, Plan operates in over 60 villages located in the southwestern part of the country. Plan’s programmes focus on helping poor children to access their rights to health, education and protection.
