Caritas Internationalis is a confederation of 162 Catholic relief, development and social service organisations working to build a better world, especially for the poor and oppressed, operating in over 200 countries and territories worldwide. In Poland, Caritas runs a network of advice centres for migrants, and provides counselling for this vulnerable group.

Caritas Poland, which became a public benefit organisation in 2004 and hence eligible for financial support from fiscal sources, supports domestic and overseas projects to meet the needs of the poor and disadvantaged.
