Founded in 1985, the Ouelessebougou-Utah Alliance is a non-profit organisation, which works cooperatively with villagers in Ouelessebougou and surrounding regions of Mali to promote sustainable development. Its projects include digging drinking wells, immunizing children, training village health workers and teachers, building schools, providing books and school supplies and making small business opportunities accessible to villagers.
