Baan Unrak is a non-profit, non-governmental community development project founded in 1991 to serve people in need in Sangklaburi, Kanchanaburi Province, Thailand. Baan Unrak’s programmes are directed toward orphans and destitute women.

Our largest project is a children’s home (and accredited primary school), which provides an orphanage, food, medical care, and education to over 130 children from Thailand, Burma, and the neighboring Mon or Karen States. Our women’s project is aimed to address the many issues faced by destitute women along the border by providing vocational training, jobs, and English lessons to single mothers and women.
