A non-profit organisation representing more than 180 domestic and international volunteer programmes that promotes and connects people from all backgrounds with international and domestic service opportunities.

CNV is a national membership organization of Christian volunteer and mission programs that fosters and promotes full-time national and international service opportunities for people of all backgrounds, ages and skills. It supports and enhances the work of its membership by providing training and resources, networking opportunities, and national advocacy.

CNV publishes and distributes RESPONSE, the most comprehensive handbook of lay mission volunteer opportunities. RESPONSE is distributed free of charge to persons interested in faith-based service and those who promote such service.

CNV also provide member programs with recruitment services, training and technical assistance resources including their National Conference, Formation Workshops, Renewal Workshops, and their web based Resource Library.
